“ First time trying this place, read some reviews and got the jerk chicken platter with white sauce on top, those reviews were not lying! tasted amazing and portion was very fulfilling, got this after the gym and definitely felt worth the money. The workers are really helpful and definitely would recommend this place to anyone! ( also the way they packed my food was AMAZING!) ”
“ I am so glad I decided to try Omar’s versus going to somewhere I’ve been before. Omar’s platters are delicious. The chicken over rice with salad is my favorite and I wish this place was closer to home. You can also customize your toppings which I thought was awesome! The guy who took our order was friendly and accommodating. The only thing I would recommend for change is to serve the people who are waiting for food versus prioritizing online orders who have not arrived. My husband and I ordered 2 chicken over rice platters but had to wait almost 10 minutes for the girl to make a large online order (8 platters with sides) before ours. The cashier even recommended she make ours first, but she said no because the online order “came in first”. Kinda of annoying, but the food was delicious, so it made up for the inconvenience. To note, there is no indoor or outdoor seating here. This is carry out only. ”
“ First time trying Omar’s!!!! Absolutely DELICIOUS. TASTY. EXCELLENT! I ordered BBQ sauce over jerk chicken in a pita with French fries! The flavor and spice was out of this WORLD!!! I have to come back here!!! The portions they give you are AMAZING! They put so much on my pita it was overflowing!!! The service was very fast as well! Everybody is friendly! the atmosphere is also great with good smelling food and nice music! Very convenient and good, also healthy if you want a quick delicious bite to eat! 15/10!!! ”

The taste was fantastic—flavorful and satisfying. The staff were also very friendly and attentive, which added to the overall positive experience. Note that they only offer take-out, with no dine-in option, but I highly recommend giving them a visit if you’re in the area! ”
“ This place is amazing. It makes supporting local easy. The quality of the food from the meats to the salmon, fresh and pickled toppings, is great. The proteins are well seasoned and not overly salty, neither are the pickled items. The flavours are very well balanced. The lamb is tender, not chewy. Platters come with lettuce, tomato, cucumber and onion. The selection of pickled veggies , corn and chickpeas are .50 each, and a scoop of hummus 1.50. All well worth it, though the proteins pack a big flavour punch making them nice, but not necessary additions to have a yummy meal. I go big lol. The portions are generous and all of the employees I've interacted with are pleasant and seem to enjoy working here. Its evident im not the only one to feel this way, because you can tell they have many repeat customers. I am now one of them. ”
“ Oh my goodness...best meal I’ve had in a long, long time! I’ve been wanting to check this place out for a while and finally ordered this evening. I got the Crispy Chicken Platter with Omar sauce, hot pepper sauce, and white sauce. The first bite of chicken absolutely blew me away—it reminded me a lot of the Chicken Katsu I grew up eating at restaurants in Hawaii, but this was 10x better! I recommend ordering the sauces on the side so you can taste each individually prior to soaking your meal in it. The hot pepper sauce is pretty dang hot, but combined perfectly with the Omar and white sauce. The best halal food I’ve ever had, and once again the best meal I’ve had in recent memory. Must try! Update (3/5/2025): I tried the Jerk Chicken Platter to try to mix things up and it was really good, but IMO not nearly as good as the Crispy Chicken! This place is addicting...living 5 minutes away is dangerous ”
“ Omar's is one of the best gyro place in DMV area! This is a family-owned, operated by very friendly folks with great service and smile. I felt that providing great customer service and maintaining the quality of food is their main mission of business! Very clean and neat place. I have had Crispy Chicken Pita, Jerk Chicken Platter, Mixed (Chicken & Lamb) Platter, French Fries and Palestinian Cola. All the items are 10 out of 10. Definitely I will be visiting Omar's many more times. You should give it a try as well. ”
